...The Grey-streaked Eagle A. verreauxii lives in the mountainous regions of Africa, mainly preying on hyraxes. Another genus, the Black-streaked Eagle Ictinaetus malayensis , lives in the forests of Southeast Asia, soaring nimbly and attacking bird nests in the trees to eat eggs and chicks. The Mountain Eagle family includes 20 species in 7 genera, and although they are called hawks, they are large, measuring 50-100cm in length, and have broad, large wingspans, making them more similar to the Golden Eagle genus.
