…Especially distinctive are the use of handles in the shape of a bear on the rim of the pottery, and the inclusion of small stone rods called fish-shaped stone tools. Representative sites include the Esan Site in Esan Town and the Ayorro Site in Shiraoi Town. The latter site has fewer jar-shaped and pedestal pottery, more pottery with ears, and a significantly larger number of deep bowl-shaped pottery.
