[1] (Andrea Pisano) Italian sculptor and architect of the Middle Ages. He was involved in the construction of the bell tower of Florence Cathedral and other buildings ( c. 1290-1348 ). [2] (Giovanni Pisano) Italian sculptor and architect. Son of Nicola Pisano. In addition to designing the facade of Siena Cathedral, he perfected the dramatic expression based on realism in the sculpture of many pulpits, which became representative of the Gothic sculpture of his time ( c. 1250-1314 ). [3] (Nicola Pisano) Italian sculptor of the Middle Ages. He created many pulpits, including the pulpit of the Pisa Baptistery. He led Italian sculpture to a dramatic form that combined Gothic and classical elements ( c. 1220-1284 ).
