Japanese: 笠付 - かさづけ

A type of zappai. It is also known by other names such as kamuritsuki, eboshitsuki, gomojitsuki, and kashiratsuki. It is a 12-character poem with a 7-5 syllable structure attached to a 5-character title. It began to be practiced around the Genroku period under the initiative of Unko (? -1728) of Kyoto, and along with maekutsuki, it became the main style of zappai. It aims to be humorous and witty. Representative anthologies include "Summer Trees," "Haiku Sumiyoshi Odori," and "Western Ships."

雑俳の一種。冠(かむり)付，烏帽子(えぼし)付，五文字付，かしら付などの別称がある。５文字の題に７・５の12字句を付けるもの。元禄ごろから京都の雲鼓(うんこ)〔？-1728〕らが主唱して行われるようになり，前句付とともに雑俳の主要様式となった。滑稽(こっけい)，機知を旨とする。代表撰集は《夏木立》《俳諧住吉躍》《西国船》等。
