A city that has developed in a strip shape with a certain width. It can be found in areas between rivers or coasts, or along important roads. In urban planning, the ideal form is to have industrial and residential areas on either side of green spaces and transportation main lines, but this places a heavy burden on the roads and causes problems such as noise and traffic hazards.
