In the section on Emperor Suinin in the Nihon Shoki and the section on Shisawa-gun in the Harima no Kuni Fudoki, it is written that when Amenohiboko-no-mikoto, a prince of Silla, came to Harima Province with sacred treasures, he was granted the villages of Shisawa in Harima Province and Ideasa on Awaji Island by imperial decree, but he wanted a place to live further, so he traveled around Omi, Wakasa, and other areas before arriving in Tajima, where he made it his home.
