...The following year, in 1967, Terayama Shuji (1935-1983) and others founded Tenjo Sajiki (official name Tenjo Sajiki Theater Experimental Room), and in 1968, Ninagawa Yukio and others founded the Modern People Theater. The Theater Center 68/69, a liaison organization between three theater companies including the Jiyugeki Theater, was also established in the same year, and the 68/70 black tent performances began in 1970. The mid-ranking new theater company Seinenza also opened a small theater, Seinenza Theater (Shibuya, Tokyo), which also served as a rehearsal room, in 1969.
