A calendar distributed by calendar makers in Nara. It is also called the Nara calendar or the Nanjing calendar. All calendar makers in Nara were onmyoji, and it is known that there were 14 families around the time of the Horeki and Kansei calendar reforms. It is thought to have originated in the 15th century. There were usually two types of bound calendars, large and small, and abbreviated calendars were also published. Most were fubariki calendars, but some calendar makers were allowed to sell calendars in the Yamato province only. It is thought that only the Nanto calendar was written in katakana, and another characteristic is that the days of the week were written for each day from the time of the Senmei calendar.
