〘Noun〙① A carriage made from fragrant wood. A beautiful carriage. Kousha. ※Otogizoshi, A Long Tale of an Autumn Night (Nanboku-cho), "A fragrant carriage is unique to the palanquin of a treasured horse."② One of the pieces in shogi. It can move straight forward as far as it likes. If it enters within the third row of the enemy camp and is promoted, it functions the same as a gold general. Kyosu. Kyo. Yari.
