〘Noun〙 One of the government offices under the ritsuryo system. It was under the jurisdiction of the Imperial Household Ministry. It was in charge of the payment of koyu (oil ) to be paid as an additional tax, or accessory to the tribute ( tribute ) . In September 896 , it was merged into the Tonomozukasa (Lord's Office) . 〘名〙 令制における官司の一つ。宮内省(みやのうちのつかさ)の所管。諸国から調(みつぎ)の副物(そわつもの)即ち付加税として上納する膏油(こうゆ)のことをつかさどった。寛平八年(八九六)九月、主殿寮(とのもづかさ)に併合された。しゅゆし。※令義解(833)職員「主油司 正一人。〈掌二諸国調膏油事一〉」
