Analogy - Analogia

Analogy - Analogia

...For example, Plato believed that the quest for the ultimate principle of the universe, the One, could only be realized through the practice of dialectical or dialectical thinking, which repeatedly returns to its roots and breaks down the identities of thought related to the worldly or finite in general. In addition, medieval scholastic thought, including that of Thomas Aquinas, believed that the identity of the transcendent God was qualitatively distinct from the identity of non-divine creatures, and that it should be reached through thinking that follows the path of analogy, starting from the latter. Furthermore, Schelling's philosophy of identity, which sees the absolute as the total indifference between the subjective and the objective, and Fichte's philosophy, which regards the law of identity as absolute truth and relates it to the "ego" as the fundamental principle of the universe, were criticized by Hegel, who argued that the identity of the origin must be the "identity of identity and non-identity." These ideas were also inspired by the search for a logic that mediates and connects the two aforementioned phases while making use of each of them.
