Gakurin
〘 noun 〙① A place where learning flourishes. The center of the academic world. [Han Shu - Shuden, part 2]② A place where monks study. A monastery. Also, the monks who belong there. ※Inryoken Nikki - Entoku 1 (1489), November 26th "The koto is played by the Lord of the Forest. The flute is played by Minamoto Chunagon . Two tsuba are played in the school. It is a wonderful occasion."
