Revolutionary Committee (English: Revolutionary Committee)

Japanese: 革命委員会 - かくめいいいんかい（英語表記）Gé mìng wěi yuán huì

A new power structure in China was born during the Cultural Revolution. Mao Zedong is thought to have initially aimed to establish a power structure similar to that of the Paris Commune through the Cultural Revolution, but was thwarted by resistance from the People's Liberation Army, a standing army, and proposed the establishment of revolutionary committees consisting of the "triple combination" of the revolutionary masses, revolutionary cadres, and representatives of the People's Liberation Army. As a result, the old party bureaucrats were replaced by PLA bureaucrats, but this revolutionary committee was dissolved with the end of the Cultural Revolution, and the old party and administrative structures were restored.

文化大革命のなかで生まれた中国の新しい権力機構。毛沢東は，はじめ文化大革命を通じてパリ･コミューン型の権力機構の樹立を目指したとおもわれるが，主として常備軍である人民解放軍の抵抗にあって挫折し，革命的大衆，革命的幹部，人民解放軍代表の〈三結合〉による革命委員会を提起した。この結果，旧党官僚にかわって解放軍官僚が登場するという中途半端なことになったが，この革命委員会も文化大革命の終息によって解消され，旧来の党と行政機構が復活した。
