Ivory statue of a woman

Japanese: 牙製婦人像 - きばせいふじんぞう
Ivory statue of a woman

… One of the relics that characterize this culture is the female statues made of bone and tusk. They are slightly bent over with their hands clasped or joined together in front of them, and this motif is found in ivory statues of women excavated in Mongolia and in the distant Semireche region. Turk It resembles the female stone statues of the Totsukushi. There are two theories about the origin of this culture: one is that it arose independently in southern Sakhalin and northern Hokkaido, and the other that it arose under influence from the continent.
