Genichiro Adachi
1889-1973 A Western-style painter from the Taisho and Showa periods.
Born on July 8, 1889. Studied at the Kansai Art Academy and other institutions, then studied in France in 1914. Known as a mountain painter, he founded the Japan Mountain Painting Association in 1936. His works include "From Maehotakadake Kitaho." He passed away on March 31, 1973, at the age of 83. Born in Osaka. Graduated from Kyoto Municipal School of Arts and Crafts. His works include "Painting on the Mountains."
