…After returning to Japan, he made a speech entitled “Trends of the World Revolutionary Movement” in which he advocated direct action through general strikes. His position was made clearer in “Changes in My Thought” published in the daily newspaper “Heimin Shimbun” in February 1907, which led to a debate with Tetsuji Tazoe, a member of the parliamentary policy faction at the 2nd Congress of the Japan Socialist Party. After that, he formed the Friday Society with Sakai and Yamakawa Eiji, and also gave speeches at the Asian Peace Association, which was formed by Chinese revolutionaries Zhang Ji and Zhang Binglin in Tokyo under the banner of anti-imperialistism and national independence. After returning home due to illness, he worked on translating Kropotkin's “The Snatch of Bread.” …

After his release from prison, he fled to Japan for the third time, became editor-in-chief of the China Tongming Association's journal, Minbao, called for the unity of the invaded peoples of Asia, and founded the Association for Asian Peace.
