Complete record of physical and mental states - Kakutai Zenroku (English)

Japanese: 格体全録 - かくたいぜんろく（英語表記）Gé tǐ quán lù

This is a book on European anatomy that was translated into Manchu by French Jesuit D. Parennin (Chinese name: Baduoming) at the imperial command in 1720 (Kangxi 59) during the latter years of the Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty. It is based on a book by French physicist P. Dionis, and also incorporates illustrations from an anatomical book by Danish anatomist Thomas Bartholin. Emperor Kangxi initially ordered the translation, believing that it would be beneficial to the development of Chinese medicine, but later came to believe that an anatomical book like this would damage Chinese culture, and so he stuck to the Manchu translation and gave up on translating it into Chinese.

清朝の康熙帝の晩年，1720年(康熙59)ころフランス人イエズス会士パランナンD.Parennin(漢名，巴多明)が勅命を受けて満州語に訳出したヨーロッパ解剖学の書。フランス人外科学者P.ディオニスの書物に基づき，さらにデンマークの解剖学者トーマス･バルトリンの解剖書の図をとり入れた。康熙帝ははじめ中国医学の発達に役立つとして翻訳を命じたが，後に解剖書のようなものは風教をそこなうと考え，満州語訳にとどめ，漢訳を断念した。
