Fahrenheit temperature scale*. The freezing point is 32°F, and the boiling point is 212°F. Originally, it is said that the origin of this temperature scale was the temperature of a refrigerant made from a mixture of ice and salt, and 100°F was his own body temperature, but recent reports suggest that it actually used the minimum and maximum temperatures in Berlin in 1724, the year he established the scale. The character "Fahrenheit" is used because Fahrenheit's phonetic translation is "Hua-lin-hai," so the first character is used (therefore, the use of the character "Ka-shi," which is favored by some publishers, is meaningless).
