Yoshihisa Ashikaga
1426-1439 A military commander of the Muromachi period.
Born in 1400. Son of Ashikaga Mochiuji. His father, the Kamakura kubo (Kubō), was in conflict with the Shogun Ashikaga Yoshinori, and in 1516 the Eikyō Rebellion broke out. His father was defeated by the shogunate army and committed suicide in 1517. Yoshihisa also committed suicide on February 28 of the same year. He was 14 years old. His childhood name was Kenōmaru.

応永33年生まれ。足利持氏の子。鎌倉公方(くぼう)の父が将軍足利義教(よしのり)と対立し,永享10年に永享の乱がおこる。幕府軍によって父は敗れ11年自害,義久も同年2月28日自害した。14歳。幼名は賢王丸。
