Mayor of the Frankish Kingdom. Grandson of Pippin I. Initially Mayor of Austrasia, a division of the Frankish Kingdom. After Ebroin, Mayor of Neustria, was assassinated in 687, he became Mayor of the entire Frankish Kingdom. He was called Pippin the Middle.
