...What remains today is the Tokiwazu "Wakagi no Hanasugata no Saishiki" (Young Trees in Bloom, Four Seasons), performed at the Edo Ichimuraza in 1838 (Tenpo 9). Also performed by Asahina, Tora, and Shosho is the Tokiwazu "Asahina no Tsurigitsune" (first performed at the Edo Nakamuraza in 1825), with the original title "Tekuda no Wanaki Yatsu wo Tsurihige" (Catching a Pimp). Other works that are thought to be of the same lineage include the Kiyomoto "Tsurigiku" (Tsurigiku: Fishing Fox Trap, Kankiku) (1848) and the Nagauta "Tsurigiku: Harunrangiku" (Tsurigiku: Fishing Fox in Bloom, 1869)....
