Autumn forget-me-not

...Both bloom in the summer. On the Pacific coast west of the Miura Peninsula, the Hamakanzo (H. fulva L.var. littorea (Makino) Hotta) blooms in early autumn, while the later-flowering H. sempervirens Araki is found from southern Kinki south to Taiwan. Both tend to be evergreen, with leaves remaining in winter.
