...On Ojima, they engage in coastal fishing. There are many ruins and sacred sites from the Ryukyu Dynasty, and together with Chinen Village to the east, it is called the "Land of the Gods," and is a pilgrimage route called the "Agariumai." Pilgrimage sites include the sacred springs (Ukinju and Hainju), which are said to be the origin of rice cultivation, the sacred fields (Mifuda), the ruins of Tamagusuku Castle, which is said to have been built by Amamikyo, the ruins of Minton Castle, where Amamikyo first lived, and the ruins of Itokazu Castle, which was built by the Aji of Itokazu in the first half of the 14th century.
