...In 1615 (Genwa 1), the death of its leader, Furuta Oribe, marked the departure of Mino pottery from its leading role, and under the feudal system, it became a production center for everyday utensils for the masses, mainly ash-glazed, iron-glazed, and Ofuke-glazed ware. In 1610 (Keicho 15), Tokugawa Yoshinao, the first lord of Owari, summoned Kato Tozaburo and Nihei from Gonoki (Toki City) in Mino to Akatsu, and Shinuemon from Mizukami (Mizunami City) to Shinano, to promote the pottery industry. Also, during the Kan'ei era (1624-44), a kiln was built in Setoyama, northeast of Ofukemaru in Nagoya Castle, and Tozaburo and others were invited to fire the pottery, which became Ofuke-yaki. ...

…1615年(元和1)その指導者古田織部の死を契機として美濃窯業は主役の座から離れ，幕藩体制下には灰釉，鉄釉，御深井（おふけ）釉を主とした大衆向けの日常雑器の生産地になった。1610年(慶長15)初代尾張藩主徳川義直は加藤唐三郎，仁兵衛を美濃の郷ノ木(土岐市)から赤津へ，新右衛門を水上（みずかみ）(瑞浪市)から品野へ召還して窯業の振興策をとった。また寛永年間(1624‐44)，名古屋城内の御深井丸の北東にある瀬戸山に窯を築き，唐三郎らを招いて焼かせたのが御深井焼である。…
