In the Edo period, this document was issued when taxes were paid in full. It was one of the three local ledgers, specifically called the "List of Taxes Paid in Full." It was issued by the magistrate to the village as a receipt. It was also used as a list of payments sent by the magistrate to the accounting office. It contains detailed information such as tax rates and details of small items, and is an important historical document related to rural life and tribute payments.

江戸時代，年貢などを完納したときに発する文書。地方 (じかた) 三帳の一つ
詳しくは「御年貢皆済目録」という。代官から村方へ領収書として出された。また別に代官から勘定所に送る納入目録ともされた。年貢の租率・小物成の内容など詳細な記入があり，農村生活・貢納関係の重要な史料。
