This is a disease that occurs when the head is exposed to strong direct sunlight for a long period of time. Premonitory symptoms include general fatigue, nausea, and yawning, followed by headache and impaired consciousness. Body temperature can sometimes exceed 40°C. It is essentially the same as heat stroke, and is caused by a malfunction of the brain's thermoregulatory center. Treatment involves cooling the whole body and resting. 頭部に強い直射日光を長く浴びたとき起こる病気。前駆症状として全身倦怠(けんたい)，悪心(おしん)，あくびなどを呈し，やがて頭痛，意識障害などを起こす。体温は時に40℃を越える。熱射病とその本態は同じで，脳の体温調節中枢の失調が原因。治療は全身の冷却，安静など。
