Aihara Kiyotane - Aihara Kiyotane
?-? A military commander during the Nanboku-cho period.
He was a magistrate of the Muromachi Shogunate. In 1347, he became the steward of the Mandokoro. It is said that the failure of Ashikaga Tadayoshi's plot to assassinate Takano Moronao was due to Kiyotane's change of heart. His posthumous name was Dosai.

室町幕府の奉行人。貞和(じょうわ)3=正平(しょうへい)2年(1347)政所(まんどころ)執事となる。足利直義(ただよし)の高師直(こうの-もろなお)殺害計画の失敗は清胤の変心によるといわれる。法名は道最。
