Kagami [town] - Kagami
A former town in Kami District, eastern Kochi Prefecture. It occupies the eastern Kochi Plain and the mountainous area to the northeast, with the main settlement of Kishimoto on the sand dunes on the Tosa Bay coast. Rice and vegetable gardening are popular in the plains, and mandarin oranges are cultivated in the mountains. In March 2006, it merged with Akaoka Town, Noichi Town, Yasu Town, and Yoshikawa Village in Kami District to become a city, Konan City. 58.89 km2 . 6,419 people (2003).

高知県東部,香美(かみ)郡の旧町。高知平野東部とその北東の山地を占め,土佐湾岸の砂丘上に主集落の岸本がある。平野部で米作と蔬菜園芸,山地でミカンの栽培が盛ん。2006年3月,香美郡赤岡町,野市町,夜須町,吉川村と合併し市制,香南市となる。58.89km2。6419人(2003)。
