...Whispers are also found in wildebeests, bearded monkeys, Diana monkeys, and Brazza monkeys, but their relationship to scent glands is unclear. Tigers, lynxes, river boars, ruffed lemurs, drills, and langurs have whiskers that run from under the ears to the throat. Emperor tamarins also have long mustaches that look just like Kaiser's whiskers, but unlike human whiskers, they are not a secondary sexual characteristic, and both males and females develop similar whiskers.
