It is true that in the case of this broader translation, the correspondence between the symbolic systems in which the substitution takes place is arbitrary, so it cannot be placed on the same level as the three types of inter-semiotic translation mentioned above, but considering that this analogy reveals subtle aspects of human conscious activity, it cannot be dismissed as meaningless or nonsensical. …
