...A print that gives a three-dimensional appearance with a sense of perspective, even though it is a flat image. To make a flat photograph or printed image appear three-dimensional, there are several methods, such as arranging photographs taken from different positions on the left and right and viewing them with a stereoscope, or viewing a colored image through filter glasses with different colors for the left and right, but to see it in three dimensions in natural color, a lenticular screen is used. This is a collection of tiny semi-cylindrical lenses, each of which is attached to a surface that has two images, one to be seen by the left and right eye, printed with many lines, and the two images are combined at normal visual distance by the action of each lens, creating an effect similar to that of viewing the original object with both eyes.
