From Chukchi

It belongs to the Chukchi-Kamchatkan language family and has about 11,000 speakers in the Chukchi Peninsula of northeast Asia. It is also called Luoravetlan, after the Chukchi people's self-proclaimed name. It has also been used as a kind of common language by the neighboring Tungusic Lamut (Even) people, the Eskimos, and even by the newly arrived Russians.
