A character from the Kabuki play "Sannin Kichisakura Hatsukai." The son of the greengrocer Kyubei, he is a cross-dressing thief. The two thieves, Obou Kichisa and Osho Kichisa, swear to be blood brothers. The story unfolds around a hundred ryo of gold, and at the end they are surrounded by police and the three are stabbed to death by mutual stab.
