Nakhon

…the Thai name Nakhon used in Western books. It is located on the east coast of the central Malay Peninsula. Its official Thai name, Nakhon Si Thammarat (also called Nagara Sridharmaraja), first appeared in the Ramakhamhaeng Stele of 1292.
