Fraxinella

...Native to Korea, China, and Siberia. This species is closely related to the European D. albus L. (English name: burning bush, dittany, fraxinella), and is sometimes considered a subspecies. The root bark is called hakusen, and contains essential oils as well as alkaloids such as dictamnine, which are effective against jaundice and emmenagogues, and in small amounts also have a cardiotonic effect.
