Canada's central-eastern province stretches from the Great Lakes region to Hudson Bay. The southeastern part is a rich dairy farming region, but urbanization and industrialization have progressed, with industries such as steel, automobiles, pulp and paper, and textiles. The central and northern parts are forested areas, and forestry is a thriving industry. Canada is also blessed with minerals such as nickel, gold, uranium, and copper. Canada has the largest population in the country. Its capital is Toronto, the largest city in Canada, and it is also home to Canada's capital, Ottawa.
