Swedish legal philosopher, procedural scholar, professor at Lund University. Nordic realist jurisprudence, the foundation of which was laid by Hegerström, was given a formal and systematic development by Oliver Krona. He accepted his teacher Hegerström's criticism of legal positivism and completed the analysis of the concept of rights that his teacher had only presented in fragments. He argued that because rights are words without a semantic reference, they cannot be reduced to social facts as in legal positivism and American realist jurisprudence, and that the study of rights is about questioning their functions. After clarifying their legislative technical function, action-instructing function, and information-transmitting function, he proposed the unification of the theories of substantive law and procedural law by stating that a declaratory judgment is not a determination of the existence or non-existence of a right but an action instruction, and is what JL Austin calls a "performative."

スウェーデンの法哲学者，訴訟法学者，ルンド大学教授。ヘーガーシュトレームによってその基礎が置かれた北欧リアリズム法学はオリーベクローナによって正統的･体系的展開が行われた。彼は師ヘーガーシュトレームの法実証主義批判を受け入れ，師が断片的にのみ示した権利概念分析を完成した。権利はそもそも意味上の指示物semantic referenceをもたない言葉であるから法実証主義やアメリカ･リアリズム法学のようにそれを社会的事実に還元できず，権利の学はその機能を問うことであるとして，それの立法技術機能，行為指示機能，情報伝達機能を明示した後，確認判決は権利の存否の確定ではなく行為指令であり，J.L.オースティンのいう〈行為遂行的performative〉であるとして，実体法と手続法の理論の統一を提示した。
