Revenge for one's own enemy - Oya no katakiute yahara tsuzumi
Yellow cover. 2 volumes. Written by Houseidou Kisanji and illustrated by Koikawa Harumachi, published in 1777 (An'ei 6). A sequel to "Kachikachiyama," a rabbit targeted by a baby raccoon dog as the enemy of its parents is forced by obligation to commit seppuku, and the raccoon dog is killed together with the hunter by a baby fox who had guided the hunter to kill the raccoon dog. Incorporating the then-popular restaurant Kasai Taro and other elements of the plum branch chozubachi play ("Hirakana Seisuiki"), this work modernizes the traditional folk tales of kusazoshi with the humor of a yellow cover.
