Pomerania

…the name of the region in northwest Poland, on the Baltic coast. Pomorskie means "coast" in Polish, and is called Pomerania in English and Pommern in German. The Pomeranian region has a history of complex relations between the powers of Poland and Prussia, but most of it became Polish territory at the Potsdam Conference in 1945.
