Pronuba

Japanese: Pronuba
Pronuba

She was originally a goddess closely related to women's married life and was widely worshipped by women, but gradually developed her role and eventually became a national goddess enshrined in the Temple of Jupiter on the Capitoline Hill in Rome under the title of Regina (Queen). As a goddess of marriage, she was called Domiduca (the woman who leads the bride to the groom's house), Pronuba (the woman who leads the bride to the wedding room), and as a goddess of childbirth, Lucina (the woman who brings the child into the light). June (the month Junius, named after her, from which the English word June comes) was generally considered to be a good time for marriage. In her temple at the northern summit of the Capitoline Hill she was called Moneta ("the Adviser"); later, as a coin mint was established there, her title came to mean "money," and is the origin of the English word "money."
