DOM - dom
A mechanism that provides a way to reference or operate documents written in XML or HTML from programs or scripts. It defines methods for structuring documents written in XML or HTML using their elements and attributes. DOM is used in Dynamic HTML, and can achieve things like dynamically changing the style of text on a web page or inserting images into a web page after it has been displayed.
