Reactant resin

...In Japan, industrial trials began around 1938, and after the war, rayon staple fabric processing was actively carried out. Later, monomer-type wrinkle-resistant finishing agents (reactant resins) such as dimethylolethyleneurea were developed, and wrinkle-resistant processing of cotton fabrics began around 1955. Around 1960, wash-and-wear processing began, with the aim of eliminating the need for ironing after washing, and for this reason research was conducted into processing methods to improve wet wrinkle recovery.
