Onigajo Mountain

Japanese: 鬼ヶ城山 - おにがじょうやま
Onigajo Mountain
A mountain in the southwest of Ehime Prefecture, east of Uwajima City. It is commonly called Onigajo. Its elevation is 1151m. The highest peak of the Onigajo mountain range is Takatsukiyama (1229m), and to the north is Keyama (1089m). To the east is Nametoko Valley, famous for its beautiful valley and wild monkeys, and to the north of Takatsukiyama is Narukawa Valley. Between Takatsukiyama and Gongenyama to the west is Yakushidani Valley. It belongs to Ashizuri-Uwakai National Park, and is a popular tourist destination.

愛媛県南西部,宇和島市の東部にある山。一般には鬼ヶ城という。標高 1151m。鬼ヶ城山塊の最高峰は高月山 (1229m) で,北には毛山 (1089m) がある。東部には渓谷美と野猿で有名な滑床渓谷があり,高月山の北に成川渓谷がある。西の権現山との間に薬師谷渓谷がある。足摺宇和海国立公園に属し,行楽地としてにぎわっている。
