…A decorative style from the 1920s and 1930s, centered in Paris, named after the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts (abbreviated as Les Arts Décos) held in Paris in 1925. It is also called the 1925 style. This was the interwar period, a period known as the Fall Époque (crazy time), which was somewhat tarnished by the chaos caused by the Great Depression of 1929.
