Osaka College of Music
A private single-discipline university. Its predecessor was the Osaka Music School, founded by Nagai Koji in 1915. In 1951, Osaka Music College was established, and in 1958, it became a four-year university. The Faculty of Music has the departments of composition, vocal music, and instrumental music, with an enrollment limit of 225 students (1997). In 1968, the Graduate School of Music was established, and a junior college department was also established. The university is located in Shonai Saiwai-cho, Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture.

私立の単科大学。 1915年に永井幸次が創設した大阪音楽学校が前身。 51年大阪音楽短期大学が発足し,58年4年制大学となる。音楽学部に作曲,声楽,器楽の各学科があり,入学定員は 225名 (1997) 。 68年大学院音楽研究科を設置,短期大学部を併設する。所在地は大阪府豊中市庄内幸町。
