Saint Lague (English spelling)

...This method involves first-stage allocation using the Droop method, then dividing the number of votes received by each party by the number of seats allocated to each party plus 1, plus 2, etc., and giving the remaining seats to the parties with the largest quotients to determine the final allocation. There is also the Saint Lague method, a variation of the D'Hondt method. This was devised as a way to favor minority parties, and instead of dividing by natural numbers such as 1, 2, 3, etc. as in the D'Hondt method, it divides by odd numbers such as 1, 3, 5, etc.
