Salmonella abortusequi (English name)

Salmonella abortus is a common disease caused by Salmonella spp. in horses and donkeys. It can cause acute or chronic infectious diseases such as paratyphoid fever in adult horses, abortion in pregnant mares, and arthritis or tendonitis in foals.
