The Dinara Mountains are a mountain range that runs from northwest to southeast along the Adriatic coast of the west of the Balkan Peninsula. In Serbo-Croatian, it is called the Dinara Mountains (Dinarske planine). It covers southern Slovenia, most of Croatia, parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia.
