Stavisky, SA (English spelling)

…A French corruption scandal caused by a Russian-born Jew named Serge Alexandre Stavisky (c. 1886-1934). At the end of December 1933, a fraud case involving Stavisky at a public pawnbroker's shop in Bayonne was reported, and it was revealed that several politicians and journalists, including the Minister of the Colonies at the time, Dalmier, were involved in the case.
