October List

The October Party was a constitutional monarchist party in the final days of Imperial Russia. It was formed by the big commercial and industrial bourgeoisie and landowners, led by Liapshinsky, Rozhansky and Guchkov, who supported the October Manifesto, which pledged liberal policies, immediately after the First Russian Revolution in 1905. It held a majority in the Duma (parliament) by allying itself with right-wing parties, and continued to engage in counter-revolutionary activities with the Cadets after the February Revolution of 1917.

十月党とも。帝政ロシア末期の立憲君主主義政党。1905年の第１次ロシア革命の直後，自由主義的政策を公約した十月詔書を支持する大商工ブルジョア，地主層が，リャプシンスキー，ロジャンスキー，グチコフを中心に組織。国会（ドゥーマ）では右翼政党と結んで多数を占め，1917年の二月革命後はカデットとともに反革命活動を続けた。
